Customized Officiant
My name is Karl, and I want to help make your special day as memorable as possible (for the right reasons). By day, I am a controller and chief of staff at a Houston power generation company. In my off-time, I help bring couples together in the bonds of matrimony. Twenty-five years ago, I married the love of my life. It was a great ceremony. The man who married us -- Pastor Chuck -- helped make our evening special. He got to know us and tailored the ceremony to suit all of our requests.
Fast forward to near-present day, when the daughter of a family friend asked me to officiate her wedding. I thought back to Pastor Chuck and wanted to give our friend as great an experience that we got.
Religious Lite
I have witnessed many ceremonies where the couples come from differing religious backgrounds or strict requirements. And,though I am an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church, I tend to focus on the couple, while making sure none of us get struck by lighting. To that end, I try to make ceremonies religious "lite", but we can incorporate any or no religious aspects in this process.
